Minister Glamočić at the 63rd International Fair AGRA – Serbia as Partner Country
As part of the fair's activities, Minister Glamočić held a bilateral meeting with the Slovenian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, Ms. Mateja Čalušić. The talks were conducted in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, focusing on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, food safety, rural development, and innovation in the agro-sector.
Special emphasis was placed on the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices, as well as the identification of joint projects that can contribute to the development of sustainable and competitive agriculture in the region and beyond.
In addition to other fair-related activities, Minister Prof. Dr. Glamočić took part in the Business Conference titled "Economic Cooperation Serbia – Slovenia – Food Security and Export Potential of the Adria Region Agroindustry." He also visited exhibition stands where he had the opportunity to meet numerous exhibitors and learn more about their products.
In addition to Minister Čalušić, other representatives of the Slovenian Government present at the AGRA fair included the Minister for Cohesion and Regional Development Dr. Aleksander Jevšek, and the Minister for Natural Resources and Spatial Planning Jože Novak.
Serbia’s participation as the partner country at the International Agriculture and Food Fair – AGRA represents an important step toward strengthening international cooperation, promoting Serbian agriculture, and opening new markets for domestic producers.
