14. Aug 2025.
On August 14, 2025, the President of the Chess Federation of Slovenia, Ms. Nina Rob, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ljubljana, where she had a cordial meeting with the Ambassador Ivo Vojvodić. On that occasion, Ms. Rob presented a donation to the Chess Federation of Serbia on behalf of the European Chess Union - SENSE ROBOT, a modern digital tool that represents an important step in the modernization and digitization of chess education and the promotion of this noble game.

SENSE ROBOT is an innovative technology that utilizes artificial intelligence and advanced algorithms to facilitate personalized chess learning for both beginners and experienced players. The donation of this robot to the Chess Federation of Serbia is part of a broader initiative of the European Chess Union to improve the chess infrastructure in the region and encourage international cooperation.

In the coming period, Ambassador Vojvodić will hand over the SENSE ROBOT to the President of the Chess Federation of Serbia, Mr. Andrija Jorgić, which will officially end the process of handing over this valuable donation. This act represents another step towards strengthening the cooperation between the chess institutions of the region and the promotion of chess as an important instrument of education and cultural and sports exchange.

This visit and donation are a symbol of strong, friendly ties and mutual support between the chess organizations of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Slovenia, but also a confirmation of the importance of chess as a bridge that connects people, cultures, and countries.

Ambassador Vojvodić thanked Ms. Rob, the Chess Federation of Slovenia, and the European Chess Union for the valuable donation and expressed his belief that this type of cooperation will contribute to the further development of chess in Serbia, especially among young people.
